The aim of this website is to provide an
informal reference library of images of some of UK and Europe's finest scenery and
wild country, whether on the mainland or an offshore island. It also
includes images of sunsets, sunrises, weather phenomena and general
‘artistic’ scenes worthy of sharing. Viewers are invited to view the images
for their own pleasure or reference - if you are interested in buying a high
resolution digital image or print then see the appropriate section below.
Viewers are welcome to offer any images to me for adding to the library -
due copyright will be credited and any requests for prints from those images

How to purchase images
This site is not intended to be a commercial image bank in the conventional sense. If however you wish to purchase a particular image as a high resolution print, of any size, email Gareth (wildplace.pictures@virgin.net) and he will advise if this is feasible and how much it will cost. An image would make a lovely surprise present for someone connected with a particular location.
How to offer/send images to Gareth
Contributions are very welcome. I do reserve the right to decline offers though, and will only pass ‘print purchase’ type requests of such images back to the original owner for consideration and action. Please initially email your images as thumbnails or as very low resolution pictures only to wildplace.pictures@virgin.net , confirming your copyright ownership together with any details of each image (where of, where from, date etc). I will then respond and, if accepted, we can organise a proper transfer of the higher resolution image/s.
